Bowen movements are stimulating the proprioceptors and sensory fibers of the peripheral nervous system. The manipulations are made on the nerves, on fascia, tendons, muscles, joints, in order to send messages to the brain that the dysfunctional tension patterns in the body needs to be reorganized.
